Welcome to trip-share.com, offsites.do, retreats.do, our related domains, mobile applications, and connected services (together, the “Service”). The Service is operated by Tripshare LLC (“Tripshare”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.

1. Service Overview

Tripshare LLC provides tools for private, event-based travel coordination, group collaboration, and personal itinerary management. The Service enables users to coordinate stays, rides, flights, schedules, notes, messages, activities, imported booking confirmations, offsites, retreats, celebrations, and related travel logistics. We also provide access to curated trip offers, negotiated group rate blocks, advisor-secured stay options, automated schedule timelines, flight status updates, and concierge-style coordination services through travel expert partners.

2. Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding agreement to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, company, family, group, or another individual, you represent and warrant that you have authority to do so. The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13.

3. User Responsibilities & Content

Accurate travel data: You are responsible for the information you provide and import. The Service acts as an itinerary aggregator and coordination tool; Tripshare LLC does not book, ticket, issue, or rebook flights, transit tickets, or accommodations.
Booking data license: By submitting, forwarding, uploading, or linking booking confirmations, receipts, itineraries, messages, notes, schedules, or other trip details, you grant Tripshare LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, parse, structure, display, transmit, and use that information solely as necessary to provide, secure, support, and operate the Service for you and your designated trips.
No public AI training on your data: We do not use your private booking confirmations, itineraries, passenger lists, or forwarded emails to train publicly available foundation machine learning or artificial intelligence models.
Companions and guest travelers: If you add, link, or import reservations identifying travel companions, family members, or colleagues, you represent that you have their permission to input their details and coordinate travel on their behalf.
Travel Advisors and Client Coordination: If you are a travel advisor (including Fora travel advisors or Founders Circle members) creating or managing itineraries for clients, you represent that you have authority to input itinerary details on their behalf. You remain responsible for maintaining your independent professional relationship with your clients.
Personal safety and conduct: You are solely responsible for your own safety and conduct when arranging or participating in shares (rides, rooms, carpools, group activities). You agree to communicate respectfully with other users and to respect fellow travelers' privacy.
Live location sharing: "Live" is an opt-in feature that shares an approximate landmark or neighborhood name, not your exact address or precise coordinates, with your trip group for up to one hour. You are responsible for deciding when it is appropriate to share your location, and for ending sharing early if you choose. Live location sharing is a convenience feature for trip coordination — it is not a safety, emergency, or tracking service, and should not be relied on as one.

4. Automated Booking Ingestion & AI Parsing

The Service provides automated ingestion features that allow you to import booking receipts and itineraries by forwarding confirmation emails to your designated travel address (e.g., [email protected]), uploading documents (such as PDF files or images), or pasting clipboard screenshots.

Automated extraction: We utilize specialized software parsers and secure language models to read and convert unstructured receipts into structured timeline events (extracting flight codes, departure and arrival times, lodging dates, check-in details, rental car segments, confirmation codes, and traveler names).
Verification responsibility: While our parsing technology is designed to be highly accurate, automated document extraction can occasionally encounter ambiguities, formatting inconsistencies, or provider errors. You are responsible for reviewing imported details against your original official confirmation documents.
Sharing & privacy of sensitive details: When you assign an imported booking to a collaborative group trip, itinerary components (such as flight arrival times or hotel locations) are shared with other members of that trip to enable coordination. However, sensitive personal details—such as confirmation numbers, billing receipts, and ticket prices—remain private to your account by default unless you choose to make them visible.

5. No Endorsement or Screening

Tripshare LLC does not screen, endorse, or guarantee any users, rides, rooms, flights, accommodations, events, plans, or trip arrangements. All arrangements are made at your own risk. Certified advisors, travel suppliers, airlines, car rental operators, and third-party booking providers are independent entities subject to their own professional standards, policies, and terms.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or trip.
Harass, stalk, threaten, or harm other users, or solicit personal information from minors.
Post false, deceptive, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or infringing content.
Use chat or messaging features to transmit spam, advertising, or unsolicited promotional materials.
Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, bypass security controls, reverse-engineer software, scrape content, or interfere with system integrity.

7. Account Security

If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, magic link access, and linked email accounts. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, creates legal or operational risk, or is harmful to other users, Tripshare LLC, or third parties.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that travel schedules, flight updates, gate assignments, or weather advisories will be error-free or uninterrupted. Real-time updates depend on external carrier and airport data feeds.
Live location sharing depends on device GPS accuracy, cellular connectivity, and user settings, is only visible to your trip group while active, and is not a substitute for emergency services. In an emergency, contact local emergency authorities directly.
No warranty against data loss: We do not warrant that your content, imported itineraries, messages, or notes will be permanently preserved or free from loss or corruption. You are solely responsible for maintaining independent copies of critical travel documents and tickets.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

Tripshare LLC and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents (the “Tripshare Parties”) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, goodwill, travel opportunities, data, or use, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the Service.
In no event will the Tripshare Parties’ total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid Tripshare LLC for use of the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities; in such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Tripshare Parties from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your content or imported travel data; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your interaction with any third party or trip participant.

12. Curated Offers & Third-Party Travel Partners

By requesting curated trip offers, group rate blocks, or concierge booking assistance, you authorize us to share your request parameters with certified advisor partners (such as Fora), booking providers (such as Booking.com), and hotel brands or properties involved in fulfilling your request.

Stay Offers: Certified advisors, booking providers, hotel brands, or individual properties may negotiate, provide, or secure rates on an "as is" basis. Confirmation links for secure checkout may be provided by these parties (e.g., Fora secure site, Booking.com, hotel brand, or property checkout). Tripshare LLC does not process stay payments directly.
Flight Schedules: Flight schedules and itineraries are entered manually or imported via forwarded booking confirmations and screenshots. Tripshare LLC does not book or ticket flights, process flight payments, or act as a flight booking intermediary.
No Fulfillment Liability: Tripshare LLC is not responsible for the fulfillment, quality, safety, or availability of offers provided by third-party partners. Any bookings made are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective provider.

13. Data Retention & Privacy-First Architecture

To protect traveler privacy, Tripshare LLC maintains a privacy-first retention policy. Once an event has concluded, temporary coordination data (such as transient chat messages, room requests, and ride requests) is minimized. Registered account holders may retain their personal travel history and past timelines for reference until account deletion is requested.

14. Mobile Applications (Apple App Store Terms & Google Play)

If you downloaded our mobile application from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that these Apple App Store Terms are between you and Tripshare LLC, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content, has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support, and is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms. Similarly, if you downloaded our mobile application via Google Play, you acknowledge that Google is not responsible for the Service or its content.

15. Intellectual Property & Trademarks

All content, interfaces, graphics, logos, and software comprising the Service are the property of Tripshare LLC or its licensors. Reference to commercial products, airlines, hotels, or booking services (including Fora, Booking.com, Expedia, Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt, IHG, and other hotel or travel brands) is for identification and informational purposes only and does not imply affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement.
